How to Make a Tier List Online (Free, No Login)
Updated March 2026 · ~5 min read
A tier list is a simple grid: rows labeled S, A, B, C, D (or anything you want), and images or text items you drag into each row to show what you think is best, mid, or worst. You can build one online in a minute with TierListMaker.online — no sign-up, no watermark on export.
Step 1: Open the free tier list maker
Go to the homepage and scroll to the tool. Everything runs in your browser; your images are not uploaded
to our servers. Your work is saved automatically in localStorage so
you can close the tab and return later.
Step 2: Add items (images or text)
Click Upload Images and pick JPG, PNG, or WebP files — you can select many at once. You can also paste screenshots with Ctrl+V / Cmd+V. For rankings without pictures, use Add Text to create text tiles.
Step 3: Drag into tiers
Your items appear in the Image Library at the bottom. Drag each item into a tier row. Drag back to the library to “unrank” an item. Within a row, drag left or right to reorder.
Step 4: Customize rows
Click a tier label to rename it and pick a color from the palette. Use the row controls to add a row above, delete a row (items return to the library), or return all items in that row to the library. Drag the ⇅ handle to reorder entire rows.
Step 5: Export and share
Use Format to switch between square, landscape, portrait, round, or original aspect ratio. Toggle Labels if you want filenames on thumbnails. Click Download PNG to save a high-resolution image — no logo or watermark added by us.
That is the full loop: add items, rank them, tune the look, export. For more context on what tier lists are and where S-tier comes from, read What Is a Tier List?. When you are ready, jump into the tool below.
